About the Role
Transcend is hiring a talented Sr. Project Manager focusing on Securities Finance & Collateral Management space. You will work closely with the product group to deliver Transcend solutions to our clients. The role will actively work with key stakeholders at leading financial institutions to understand their requirements, configure Transcend solutions to meet their needs, and implement those solutions. Your role will additionally involve working with clients & technology to translate market color and client feedback into requirements and supporting clients during their implementation. Responsibilities
- Work closely with the product group to deliver Transcend solutions to our UK/Europe based clients.
- Actively work with UK/European based key stakeholders at leading financial institutions to understand their requirements.
- Configure Transcend solutions to meet their needs and implement those solutions.
- Working with clients & technology to translate market color and client feedback into requirements.
- Supporting clients during their implementation.
- Maintain end to end project plan and project management artifacts including managing risks/issues and tracking of major milestones.
- Manage key stakeholder reporting externally at clients and internally within Transcend.
- Provide in time zone support to clients without dependency on the US experts coming into the office in their time zone.
Location
This role is based out of London. There will be travel within London & possibly some to Europe to meet prospects and clients.
Qualifications & Experience
The role will require at least 5-7 years of relevant product and/or pre-sales experience. To succeed in this role candidates should have a keen interest in the financial markets, technology, and driving client success. Below are some additional areas of preferred employment experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Capital Markets Technology specifically in Triparty Optimisation.
- Specialized experience in collateral margin activities across a variety of global collateral markets.
- Prior experience implementing Transcend software at global clients with UK and European capital markets activities.
- Expertise to investigate Transcend software production issues and error codes independently during in UK business hours.
- Ability to analyze European business requirements and specific European market business rules or features and transpose them into Transcend software requirements.
- Liaise with UK based Front and Middle Office users to ensure critical support is provided in a timely manner for all projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge with a software development tracking system i.e., JIRA.
- Proficient in the use of industry tools such as SharePoint and Confluence.
- Ability to run database queries and Unix scripting for Transcend software datasets.
